Terms of Service

The agreement covering the managed service. The software itself is MIT licensed and governed separately.

Agreement

These terms are between you (or the organization you represent) and [legal entity name]. By creating an account or using the managed service, you accept them. If you are accepting on behalf of an organization, you confirm you are authorised to do so.

The service

Moneyline ingests, classifies, parses, enriches, and delivers financial documents through an API, a dashboard, a CLI, and an MCP server. Available features depend on your plan. We may change the service, and we will give reasonable notice before removing functionality you depend on.

Your account

  • You are responsible for the security of your API keys and for activity carried out with them. Keys can be revoked at any time from the dashboard.
  • You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live.
  • One person may not share a single account with others in a way that circumvents plan limits.

Your content

You keep all rights in the documents you submit and the output produced from them. You grant us only the licence needed to run the service on your behalf: to store, process, and transmit those documents for you. That licence ends when you delete the content or close the account.

You are responsible for having the right to submit what you submit, including any consent required from the people the documents describe.

Acceptable use

Do not use the service to break the law, to process documents you have no right to, to attempt to access another organization's data, to probe or overload the infrastructure beyond documented rate limits, or to resell the API as a substantially identical product. [Confirm whether reselling is prohibited or permitted under a partner agreement.]

Accuracy and your responsibility for decisions

Moneyline extracts data from documents. It is accurate but not infallible, which is why every field carries a confidence score and every statement is reconciled against its own arithmetic. You are responsible for the decisions you make with the output, including credit, underwriting, and compliance decisions. Nothing in the service is financial, legal, or credit advice.

Fees

Paid plans are billed in advance on the cycle shown at checkout. Usage above your plan's included volume is billed in arrears at the rate on your invoice. Fees exclude tax unless stated. [State the refund position and the notice period for price changes.]

Service levels

Uptime commitments apply to paid plans as published on the pricing page. The open-source tier is provided without any service level: you operate it. [Attach the SLA document, including the credit mechanism and the exclusions.]

Suspension and termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend an account for non-payment or for a breach of acceptable use, with notice where circumstances allow and immediately where they do not. On termination you can export your data for [window], after which it is deleted.

Warranties and liability

[This section allocates risk and must be drafted by counsel for the operating jurisdiction. It should cover the disclaimer of implied warranties, the exclusion of indirect and consequential loss, the liability cap, and the carve-outs that cannot lawfully be limited.]

Indemnity

[To be drafted. Typically covers claims arising from your content or your breach of these terms, with the usual notice and control-of-defence mechanics.]

Changes to these terms

Material changes are announced to account holders by email at least [notice period] before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept them.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [jurisdiction], and disputes are subject to the [courts / arbitration forum] of [venue].
